Sister Summayah, the founder of Sidrah Global Academy, is a distinguished educator with over 23 years of experience across various educational environments, including public and private schools, after-school programs, and summer camps. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on Adult Education and Training, and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education Administration. Her extensive academic background and professional experience make her an invaluable asset to the school’s leadership.
Sister Summayah is deeply committed to helping students realize their full potential. Renowned for her dynamic teaching style, she possesses a unique ability to connect with students on a personal level. Her classes are not only challenging but also engaging and enjoyable. With a broad and diverse teaching portfolio, she has instructed learners ranging from elementary school students to adults in college-level courses, GED programs, and ESL initiatives. This reflects her dedication to a holistic and inclusive educational approach.

Beyond the classroom, Sister Summayah is a talented writer, having authored and self-published two children’s books. She also writes short skits and has a deep appreciation for theater and dramatic arts.
Sister Summayah has spent the past two decades dedicated to community service, with a strong history of engagement and outreach in both New Jersey and Florida. She has initiated and executed numerous successful community projects and has been recognized by organizations such as ICNA Relief and The Garden of the Sahaba Academy for her outstanding contributions to community development, youth empowerment, education, and homelessness advocacy.
