Out The Gutta Recordings was born and raised in Richmond, California, in the early seventies, Babez grew up in the vibrant East Bay area. His family, originally from Louisiana and Texas, brought with them the soulful sounds and rhythms of rhythm & blues. From a young age, Babez was immersed in music, performing the Robot at family gatherings and showcasing his talent at elementary school talent shows. These early experiences sparked his passion for entertainment and honed his stage presence.

Babez’s life has been a musical journey, influenced by his father’s love for The Dramatics, The Spinners, and The Temptations, as well as his aunts’ harmonizing to Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, and Patti LaBelle. His deep appreciation for music and dance caught the attention of the late Tupac Shakur, who invited Babez to choreograph and perform on tour.

As a hype man and roadie for Tupac, Babez lit up the “2Pacalypse Now” and “Strictly For My Niggaz” tours, bringing his East Bay energy to audiences nationwide. He later partnered with Tupac and Charles “Man Man” Fuller to create Out The Gutta Recordings, producing the iconic ThugLife Volume 1.

Today, Babez continues to honor this legacy as an author, playwright, and executive producer. Representing Game 4 P.E.A.C.E. and Out The Gutta Recordings, Babez embodies dedication, rhythm, and relentless passion. Tupac fans, respect the journey—Babez is here, and he’s bringing the heat!
